Originally from Yunnan, China. Raw leaves were harvested from the arbor tea trees of broad-leaf species that grown organically in the high mountain ancient tea forests. The sun-dried green leaves (mao cha) underwent the traditional pile-fermentation process to produce ripe puer, which was then steamed and compressed ito tea cakes. These reddish-brown tea cakes are properly shaped with the right degree of comparession applied. Naturally glossy with fine, golden buds on the surface. The clear, coppery-red infusion lets out a pure and pronounced aroma, with rounded, mellow flavour and sweet after-taste. Gu Shu Yuan Yun ripe puer tea is mild in nature and gentle for stomach. Ideal for daily consumption, it is a beverage that helps eliminate grease, calms the nerves and promotes health.
