11' GREEN MELON PUER TUO CHA
Hailed from the Yunnan Province, Puer Tea is made with tea leaves harvested from the large-leaf variety tea trees. The processing of freshly-picked leaves involves fixing, rolling and sun-drying to yield maocha (green raw tea), known as Dian Qing, literally Yunnan Green. Sun-dried maocha could be moistened, and covered for ‘pile fermentation’ (wo dui) to yield shou cha (ripe puer). Green maocha and the fermented dark puer can be sold loose, or in compressed form such as toucha (tea balls), tea bricks, round tea cakes, square teas or tea bricks, which offer distinct flavours of their own, thus making it very unique type of tea.
Puer Tea processing method:
1) Plucking fresh tea leaves.
2) Carrying, and transporting fresh tea leaves.
3) Collecting fresh tea leaves.
4) Fixation, Pan frying to kill the green.
6) Sun drying.
7) Stalk extracting.
12) Stone pressing.
