Brewing hints 1:

Pour hot water at a temperature of 80°c into a tea brewing utensils of 200cc, and add 1 rose. Infuse for about 3 minutes and serve. It can be brewed several times. Avoid pouring water directly onto the rose when hot water is added. This way of brewing maintains the beautiful shape of the blooms as they unfurl. The pale, crystal-clear infusion yields a delicate fragrance that lingers. An appropriate amount of Chinese wolfberry, honey or rock sugar can be added according to personal preference.

Brewing hints 2:

Place 1 rose into a tea brewing utensil of 200cc. Pour in hot water at a temperature of 80°c. Infuse for about 3 minutes and serve. It can be brewed several times. This way of brewing enables the rose to quickly absorb water and open up. They give pronounced aroma and a honey-gold infusion. Pour water directly onto the rose when hot water is added. Where necessary, gently swirl the tea brewing utensil or use a teaspoon to separate the petals to help them get back to shape and release the flavour.

Gentle Reminder:
  • Anthocyanins released by the roses in the course steeping will manifest changes according to the pH values in drinking water - alkalinity causing it to turn blue or green, acidity causing it to turn yellow. This is a natural phenomenon and is not a cause for worry.
  • There many be some changes in the colour of the roses when they undergo low-temperature dehydration - the colour of some stamens and tips of the petals may darken. This is a natural phenomenon and is not a cause for worry.
  • The anthocyanins is a water-soluble flavonoid pigment and turns pale over time. This is a natural phenomenon.
